Where we live gnats and mosquitoes are terrible. I created a 'Gnat Hat' so I can keep working without fighting with the bugs because the veil covers my face and arms. The veil fabric was 2 yards. I used brown because I knew it would get dirty. The hat came with the tie glued on. I removed it then added the veil. Then pinned the ribbon back on top of the veil to hold it in place.
